Local authors Allen Davis & Mary Young, of the Davis Financial Group, will talk about their new book, Financial Planning for Solo Agers.   Grounded in decades of professional insight their book helps readers navigate life’s later chapters—not by eliminating risk—but by transforming uncertainty into informed perspective.   It’s about seeing past the “Mountain of Unknowns” clearly & realizing that with the proper footing & financial planning, you can climb it on your own.  With context & structure, what once felt like isolation becomes autonomy, & the future becomes something to design, not defend against.

Join us for a reading featuring poets Rebecca Hart Olander, Ivy Schweitzer, & Ellen Miller–Mack.   Hart Olander’s books include Dressing the Wounds, Uncertain Acrobats, & most recently, Singing from the Deep End.   She is editor/director of Perugia Press.   Schweitzer lives in Vermont & has taught American Literature & Women’s Studies at Dartmouth College.   She writes about cultural identity & social justice from a feminist & Jewish perspective.  Her debut solo collection, Dividing Rivers, was published in 2025.   Miller–Mack is the host & producer of Poet Talk on WMUA.   Her first book, When I Was A Grateful Mammal, is forthcoming this spring.
