Jill Franks will read from & talk about her new book, Social Identity & Literary Form in the Victorian Novel: Race, Class, Gender & the Uses of Genre, on the Emily Dickinson Museum lawn, Main Street, Amherst.   Franks, who teaches at the University of Massachusetts, is author of numerous other books including, Every Stranger a God: Hiking the English Moors, & Woody Allen & Charlie Chaplin: Little Men, Big Auteurs.
