Poet, essayist, philosopher, editor, publisher, translator, Joshua Beckman will talk about his recent book, The Lives of the Poems & Three Talks.   Beckman is author of eight collections of poetry, including Shake, Your Time Has Come, & The Inside of an Apple.   He is Editor in Chief at Wave Books.
Sarah Browning will read recent poetry.   Browning is author of two volumes of poetry—Whiskey in the Garden of Eden & the recent Killing Summer.   She has been guest editor or co-edited special issues of Beltway Poetry Quarterly, The Delaware Poetry Review, & POETRY magazine.   Browning is co-founder & Executive Director of Split This Rock & an Associate Fellow of the Institute for Policy Studies.
