Kevin Goodan, who earned his M.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts, will read from his second volume of poetry, Winter Tenor.   Donald Revel wrote “these poems choir a warm sound from the barest branches & stir the embers of dark flames ablaze.   Here is the soul of heat driven straight through the roots & veins of this old world.”   Goodan’s first book, In the Ghost–House Acquainted, won the 2005 L. L. Winship/PEN New England Award.   His poems have appeared in Ploughshares & American Poet, among others.   He has taught creative writing at the University of Connecticut & Wesleyan University & is currently a assistant professor at Lewis-Clark State College.
