Kevin Goodan, who earned his M.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts, will read from his second volume of poetry,
Winter Tenor. Donald Revel wrote “these poems choir a warm sound from the barest branches & stir the embers of dark flames ablaze. Here is the soul of heat driven straight through the roots & veins of this old world.” Goodan’s first book,
In the Ghost–House Acquainted, won the 2005 L. L. Winship/PEN New England Award. His poems have appeared in
Ploughshares &
American Poet, among others. He has taught creative writing at the University of Connecticut & Wesleyan University & is currently a assistant professor at Lewis-Clark State College.
