Join Isabella Chiaravallotti in celebrating the publication of her new book, Milk for No One.   A work of narrative nonfiction surrounding pregnancy & abortion full of light & love. Milk For No One is an intriguingly honest book that examines the delicate nuances of motherhood, personhood, health, healing, & nature.
Sonia Sanchez will speak at the second annual “Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Symposium” in Johnson Chapel, Amherst College.   The talk will be preceded by a book signing at 11:15am.
Join Toussaint Losier in celebrating the publication of his new book (co-authored with Dan Berger), Rethinking the American Prison Movement at the New Africa House, UMass, Amherst.   Toussaint teaches in the W.E.B. Du Bois Department of Afro-American Studies at UMass here in Amherst.
Jeff Hobbs will talk about his book, The Short & Tragic Life of Robert Peace: A Brilliant Young Man Who Left Newark for the Ivy League, in the Stirn Auditorium, Amherst College.
