Daryl Brown, James Brown’s son, will read from his new memoir, Inside the Godfather: Never Before Told Stories of James Brown by His Inner Circle.   Daryl Brown, who often played with his dad, will play a little guitar & have an open Q&A.

Join us in celebrating the publication of a new novel by James Sulzer,—The Voice at the Door: A Novel of Emily Dickinson.   Sulzer, who lives & teaches middle school on Nantucket, is author of an earlier novel, Nantucket Daybreak, & the memoir, Mom Comes Home.   He has produced countless “sonic id’s” for National Public Radio, some of which aired on Ira Glass’s This American Life.
