Todd Felton, author of the much-admired, A Journey into the Transcendentalist’s New England, will talk about his new book, A Journey into Ireland's Literary Revival.   This engrossing, illuminating, & beautifully illustrated guidebook explores the personal & professional histories of writers such as W. B. Yeats, Lady Gregory, John Millington Synge, & Sean O’Casey & examines their relationships with the people, culture, & landscapes of Ireland. From Galway & the Aran Islands, to County Mayo & County Sligo, & from Dublin to Wicklow, this guide to the places that inspired Irish Literary Revival showcases the locations where many of Ireland’s finest writers shaped an enduring vision of the country.   R. Todd Felton is a photographer & writer who specializes in literary travel guides.   He was the founding director of Wilbraham & Monson Academy's writing center as well as the English department chair & theater director.

The Chuckwagon, a small poetry press here in the Pioneer Valley, run by Sean O'Casey, will feature a reading by their poets: Brad Flis, Carson Cistulli, Michael Casey, Donna Sellinge, Madeline ffitch, & Sean O'Keefe.

Poets Christopher Howell, David Lyon, Ray Amorosi, Tomas O'Leary & Helena Minton, among others, will read from new & recent work.   Howell is director of Lynx House Press & is author of numerous volumes of poetry, including Just Waking, Sea Change, Memory & Heaven, & Light's Ladder.   Lyon is author of The Sound of Horns.   Amorosi is author two volumes of poetry: A Generous Wall & Flim Flam.   O'Leary is author of The Devil Take A Crooked House & Fool at the Funeral.   Minton is author of several volumes of poetry, including The Canal Bed, The Gardener & the Bees, & In Another Life.
